Cloutier to leave CASA

Jason Gergely, President of the Board of Directors of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), has announced Mackenzie Cloutier will be leaving her role as Executive Director of CASA of Kosciusko County. In her letter to the Board, Cloutier stated that it is with heavy heart that she is leaving the Executive Director position after 10 years of service but feels a fresh approach in leadership will benefit the organization in meeting the challenges of the future. Gergely went on to say that the Board understands and supports her decision. “Mackenzie’s contributions to CASA have been significant; but more importantly, CASA will miss her passion and commitment to advocacy for neglected and abused children in Kosciusko County. To assure a successful transition of leaderships, she has agreed to continue in her Executive Director role through the summer.
The Board has formed a search committee chaired by George Brennan, a long tenured member of the Board. It is requested that persons interested in submitting their resume for consideration email Mr. Brennan at gb3@lakecitygroup.com.
